This might be the first comic book movie I get genuinely excited about since endgame.

I was pumped for The Batman but this just hits different for me. Batman 1989 was my first live action movie. Probably the movie I’ve watched the most.

Ok. I'm not big on superhero movies cause they have flooded the market and gotten watered down. But that looks awesome.

Supposedly it got through the studio test screenings with positive audience remarks, enough that they didn't feel the need to go back and frick with it. That's usually the dead canary in the coalmine for these films, when they have to "fix" them late in the game.

What a terrible article. One for even mentioning Bale’s batpod as news with a photo that shows dual wheels, and again for saying it was believed Keaton was cut.

She's not playing Kara Zor-El (the character usually associated with Supergirl), she's playing Mia Cir-El. Why not just go with Kara? Who knows, maybe we find out in the movie. Or maybe they just wanted to go with a latina.

She says her name is Kara in the trailer. They should’ve gone with Mia though because Kara needs to be the traditional character.
I think she will be recast in the new Supergirl movie though. Gunn’s announcement video showed the blonde comic form I think

She is also listed as having an upcoming supergirl movie. She said she’s proud to be the first Latina supergirl.

Ah okay. That does make sense from a narrative standpoint—Gunn said she was raised on a chunk of Krypton after the apocalypse basically. She’ll be a jaded character and that matches up with this version

Ah, I must have missed that. You're 100% right though, they clearly based the character off of Mia. The actress even got the similar haircut lol
