So he apologizes for being wrong? Ok. I get it. He has a guilty conscience. I’ll give him a conditional apology acceptance.
There are 2 parts to an apology.
1-Acknowledge
2-changed behavior
I’m willing to forgive. Because that’s something we do for ourselves, and bc ultimately, I’ll never give up hope.
We cannot move past the destruction ppl like Dr Ken wrought (who incidentally has his MD - he’s just finishing other studies) without forgiveness. Dr. Ken’s realization is punishment enough, and it happened to him young enough to probably put him on the right path. Courage like that has a way of catching on, and we just have to have faith that it will be a cautionary tale to public health and emergency powers going forward.
OTOH - The Dr Faucis of the world need to be purged from public life. I want Neurenburgesque trials for them.

of course the fake lawyer had to chime in. how is that you were so wrong about the planned parenthood FACE act case?
according to you blocking people from entering planned parenthood was a contravention that surmounts to 12 years in federal prison. you were not just wrong, you were fricking wrong.
hack fraud.

Do you think any of our resident medical professionals
possess that humility?
I think a lot of doctors had to suspect that they were being lied to. I think a lot of folks, not just doctors still convinced themselves that the vaccine was still doing more good than harm, even if the arguments for mandates were fraudulent. Seems you would have to do that at a minimum to live with yourself.
To the credit of the medical community, I never saw a doctor who tried to convince me to get the shot during the entire pandemic. Some asked me if I was vaccinated and when I said "No", they just moved on. I probably did say it with a look on my face that let them know I wasn't ready for any bullshite, though.

What about the DRs who won’t perform a kidney transplant because the patient is not vaccinated? Or a young adult who now has heart issues because of vaccine mandates?
This^^^^^^^^^ is why I will never stop criticizing them.

What have we seen short term? An uptick of threads started here making false claims about someone's death?
I have seen so many of you spineless attorneys over the last 3 years that it literally makes me sick.
Your rhetoric is weak, your logic is nonsensical, and your reason perverted by your ego.
Facts and evidence are stubborn things, and to this day, attorneys, judges, and supposed medical professionals make excuses for the tyrannical overreach into personal decisions regarding individual Healthcare.
The fact that so many of you refuse to admit fault and hide behind the shadow of public health, and support an industry that tried to use duress and coercion to force compliance, without any scientific method being employed (as in every individual would need blood work taken, heart test run, and natural immunity discerned) are complicit accomplices to the conspiracy to defraud Americans of their individual liberty.
There isn't one avenue of government interference in our personal lives that accomplishes a benefit to the people.

The vaccine should have been widely available, free and voluntary
quote:Immunity was necessary for "warp speed." However, immunity should have been clearly qualified. Issuance should have come with a declaration there was no prerogative for public perfidy. In reality, there may be some actual qualification (my understanding is fraud may negate immunity). But if so, immunity limitations certainly have not been publicly pronounced or explained. That is a mistake.
with immunity for the vaccine producers
Meanwhile, the problem with retrospective vax criticism is it's influenced by current knowledge, marginal current vax efficacy, and diminished newer CV19 strain virulence. Criticism discounts the fact the vax was actually more effective at its initial rollout, and the virus was more virulent.

If you aren't an attorney, then the comment couldn't be for you, and my direction of the comment incorrect.
However, it doesn't change the facts within the statement.
See how it is done... admit a mistake, correct it, and move on.

I disagree with this.
That's OK. This is America. You can agree or disagree, but what you ask for is not science. Science says that no matter what you think you know, your belief does not overcome the reality of actual results. When working with something completely new, you must admit that you won't know the true results until you measure them. There is always the possibility of long term, unexpected results that make something potentially very dangerous.
I don't expect this to be the case, but what happens if the long term effect of the vaccine turns out to be that in 15 to 20 years - everyone injected gets an aggressive, terminal cancer? In the mean time, you have wrongly assumed it was safe and you have mandated that every man, woman, and child receive the vaccine? The human race would cease to exist. Science says that you limit the unknown, and potential down side and you do it by limiting who can get it and you let those taking the new vaccine know that it may kill or disable them.
This is not a liability for damage issue. The way the covid vaccine has been handled, no one may be left here to collect damages and no one may be here to pay damages. On the bright side, human induced global warming will be disproved - but no one will be left to notice or care.

The problem isn’t that they were wrong, it’s that the people who were right were being actively attacked and censored. Science errs and is corrected all the time. However, that process wasn’t allowed to happen because dissenting views were silenced to push something that at least some scientists and politicians KNEW was wrong.

quote:No. Science says you make an observation, form a hypothesis, conduct experiments to test the hypothesis, then assess the results relative to hypothetical predictions, reforming the hypothesis as necessary.
Science says that you limit the unknown, and potential down side and you do it by limiting who can get it and you let those taking the new vaccine know that it may kill or disable them.
Now if you are arguing that a rush to exclude or discount negative experimental results, and to overstate positive results is bad science, you are 100% correct.
