1. Said that fans were chanting "F U Saban"
2. Said how bad Alabama played and LSU didn't take advantage of them.
3. Said how horrible J. Lee played and that if LSU had just an average QB we would have won.

He speaks the truth!

We would be undefeated or have at least 1 loss if we had an experienced qb. Send your letters and postcards expressing your appreciation to R. Perrilloux, c/o Jacksonville State University.

Alabama playing so bad had nothing to do with LSU? Comments like that by the media are getting so cliche. We hear the same thing evey year when a top 5 team, whether it be Oh.St, USC, OU, etc. escape a close game. Its not like Bama beat Miss St in OT, everyone knows LSU Bama is going to be a close game almost every year (similar to Auburn) due to the bad blood.

Do national guys like Rome even watch the whole game? Do you think he watched the game or just relies on his staffers to provide him with the notes for his discussion points?

Hate agreeing, but I do. I think UF is the best team in the nation. And as surprised as I am in myself to say this, I think Texas Tech is the solid #2 team in the nation. But they have another huge test upcoming.

Rome is incorrect about the "Bama played very poorly" comment.

Take Saban's comments during post-game....I believe the statement was that his team came out on the field about as lethargic as he had seen all year during the 1st half, but was able to come out at the half in good shape due to the nice interception runback that tied the score. He went on to say that the 2nd half was much better, the team seemed extremely focused, they played hard, made the big plays when needed, and did everything it took to win the game.

Doesn't sound like their coach played it up as a "we just didn't play very well" excuse.....he actually gave LSU much credit for our "talented players".... so, Saban knew that if the LSU defense showed up similar to last year's team, they'd be in for a tough game due to our ability to match up physically at the line of scrimmage.

Look at the stats, and it bears out those facts.....Bama had 1-2 more long gains than we did, whereas our ground game was more of the consistent 5-6 yd. variety....consistently stronger than BAMA.

Rome's main staff guy (right hand man) is an Auburn grad. This guy has his own sight and talks smack about all SEC teams. But not Auburn.
