RP’s final blow was getting pulled over leaving a strip club in port Allen, then failed a drug test for coke that morning

Well maybe you should because he’s deceased.

It's hard to overstate how much that impacted our football future.
It was one of many failures that began a spiral Miles just had no capability of fixing. Recruiting failures and bad hires would have eventually happened even had RP finished out his eligibility at LSU; it was inevitable unfortunately.

And we were so glad to have Les Miles because he was a “great family man.”
Unbeknownst to us he was getting action in his condo right above VooDoo BBQ.

Tommy Banks should get the ball more.

I'm still waiting for Tridon Holliday to make a sack at DE.

He literally fixed it 3 years later when he won the SEC and played for a NC. Miles demise really didn’t start until 2014.

Trindon Holliday would’ve been the best DE in school history.
I will never forget that thread.
Hear me out...

Agree. Until that fricking 2011 NCG it seemed that Les was going to play Saban pretty close to dead even. After that game, it all went to shite and the gumps dominated. Saban amply demonstrated Miles was out of his league.

Jordan Jefferson was the fix?
He and Lee are the reason they didnt win the title, not the reason they got there.
EDITED: In 2008 is when everything changed for LSU and Miles. Instead of Perriloux he had Lee (who threw 14 INTs and I think like 6 pick 6's).
It was that season when Miles realized that even though the OC was the same he could run the ball and recruit well enough in the trenches and well enough in the backfield to win 10+ games and go down as a legend. The offense went arciac and was blamed on Crowton, Strudrawa and eventually Cam Cameron but the design was visible and obvious. He was not going to open the offense and it killed his ability to recruit and develop QBs.

Anyone who knew RP knew he wasn't going to make it on LSU football. He thought he was untouchable and regularly broke the rules. LSU and Miles gave him more than enough rope to clean his shite up and he never did grow up. There's a lot more he did that the public didn't hear about that should've got him kicked off the team beforehand.

I appreciate Flyyn, but it is crazy to say he was better than Russell
10-2 as a starter
22 TD to 11 Int. 6.7 YA. 56.3 completion %. 2407 yards.
Jamarcus was 12-2 as a starter
28 TDS to 8 Int. 3129 yards. 67.8 comp. % 9.7 YPA.
I get one won a NC but damn.

I remember a game against Auburn I think 2005. LSU highly rated. LSU played the whole second half on Auburns side of the field and lost the game because Russell could not get the job done when Flynn was on the bench. Someone check me out.

Sure do! Those were the days when Britney and Jamie Lynn would just show up at practice, so they say.
