Ted would hit .400 in today's game. He was incredibly talented, great eyesight and if he had all the scouting reports, video, full body armor at the plate etc, I think he would do exceptionally well.

He was big on being mentally prepared for at-bats back then. I imagine with video and such, he would have been very difficult for pitchers to deal with.

Many regard his 'Science of Hitting' to still be the single best resource on hitting ever made.

I wish I had a copy of that book back when I played.

How would Einstein do in the science game today?

Elite people are elite.

Both Einstein and Ted Williams would likely succeed in today’s world and would’ve adapted.

Saying “how would Ted Williams react to a 92 mph fastball” is equivalent to saying Einstein didn’t know how to use a computer.

A better question is how would modern stars be 60 years ago with no steroids, dieticians, personal trainers, etc?

I’d say it hit about 300 with about 30 home runs a year.













Not bad for a 104 year old.
