Transfer to La Tech or ULM where you can get playing time

Problem is LSU did not stick with their commitment to Nuss.
They brought in Daniels. So there goes that commitment stuff

His dad is the qb coach for the cowboys.
I am sure he is connected enough to get him on a team somewhere with a fair chance to compete

I'm as tired about hearing about Nuss turnovers as JD supporters are tired about hearing about Nuss transferring. We get it, a QB that throws as many Int's as he does TD's could never improve and play better.
Except, that's exactly what JD did. I wonder did any LSU fans watch this kid at Arizona St. His freshmen year stats look about the same as this year at LSU. 17 Passing TD's and 2 Int's. Great for a freshman! However, he's the same guy that had 10 TD's and 10 Int's last year. He appears to have rebounded and is playing marginally better than his freshman year. What sets him apart is his 11 rushing TD's this year. Other than that, he's performing almost identically.
Not a single fan on this site has any real idea of what Nuss can do. There's no way possible to accurately evaluate how he'd perform without him being the focus of the coaching staff and receiving the majority of reps with the #1's in practice, a gameplan adjusted around him, and real-game experience on a consistent basis. At the collegiate level, there is a world of difference in development between the QB#1 and the QB#2.
With that said, we've seen an entire season of JD, the good and the bad. He's who BK wants as QB#1, so that's what it'll be. However, it remains to be seen if he can improve enough to play at a Heisman level. He hasn't come close in 4 years of starting but maybe he does in his 5th. I'm not in the number that thinks he will but anything is possible.
Please stop bashing Nuss just to solidify your support for Daniels. Its ok to admit Nuss is a better passer than Daniels. Its ok to be happy about the play where Nuss escaped the grasp of the UGA defender, rolled out while still looking downfield, and uncorked a big throw for a TD. It was a great play! JD is still the better option to the staff and that's all that matters. I like both but just prefer Nuss because I want a QB that is pass-first. Byrce Young and Stetson Bennett both played against us and showed Daniels how he should mold his game. Its ok to run here and there but always look downfield and see if there's a bigger play to be had.

I’d tell him to get better while backing up the SECW winning QB next year.

Easy to speculate what you would do as a parent or the actual player when you haven’t been or will never be in the situation. So from experience as a player that transferred, for me it was about playing time and, not necessarily fitting into a program after the HC that recruited me left. Which is another reason the whole “sticking it out and compete” idea doesn’t always make sense. Every situation, commitment level, etc is different and for me, it was absolutely the best decision.

Listen to advise, weigh the pro's and con's, consider all your options and figure it out.
At the end of the day, you have to live with the decisions you make.
So does CBK.

Gauge the interest at TCU , a lot of power 5 transfers and max duggan declaring makes it a prime destination

Nah. Talk to Joe Burrow.
Flynn was only the starter for one year and never became a starter in the NFL.
Joe made a move, started for two years, and never looked back. The Portal was made for players like Nuss and Howard, don't waste your life/dreams. Don't listen to the "Woke" crowd, for for the gold.

Take the best NIL offer and the place where you get the best chance to start.

What? What a dumb statement. The coaches will put the best player/s on the field period. I coached HS football for over 20 years, not once did I put a starter on the field that did not win the job. But the evaluation continues all season. Some of you pea brains can not honestly think the things you spew on hear. You must need people to react to your stupid posts. Amazing...

Stick it out and battle hard. Your one injury away from starting.

Throw 10k passes to your receivers this summer.

Yes... they clearly want to intentionally keep the best players off the field and increase the possibility for defeat. Clown
