I would advise him the same way Matt Cassel’s dad advised him. You don’t have to be a star QB in college to be a successful NFL QB. If you’re looking NOT to compete, go find another line of work.

The only reason to transfer is if he is guaranteed a starting position at another school. If his goal is to start at a power 5 school, he will get that opportunity in 2024 at LSU.

Go to a school where they do not play a RB in the QB position. If he will not get a serious look after the lack of production on behalf of JD against ARK, A&M, and UGA, then it is time to move on.

Have you ever seen a fanbase beg their own players to transfer as much as the crew of retards on here? They are so mad that the coaches don’t do what they think they should do so they want players to literally leave the program

Jayden played well in the first half vs UGA. Major props to him for leading the FG drive before the half.

I agree that he didn't play well vs Arky and not his best vs Aggie.

Worse case scenario if Nuss transfers is Nuss going to Auburn or Ole Miss. He would light it up under Kiffin or Freeze. Best case he goes to Baylor or TCU.

I’d tell him to stay and keep fighting. Stay humble. Work hard. Be loyal. Study hard. Positive attitude. Good things will come. The GOAT never started at Michigan

You are correct but I think you meant to say Ohio State not Michigan.

I'd tell him to call Lane or at least go somewhere that will allow him to compete.

JD committed to BK. Nuss is not his guy and never will be.

You’re always bringing up shite like this.

“Woodward needs to mandate…”

“The boosters need to make clear that…”

Because if the head football coach doesn’t see it your way, then surely his boss will step in and make him see it your way. And if his boss won’t, then surely the people funding the program will make the coach and AD see it your way.

Scott Woodward, who has never been a player or coach at any level, is not going to mandate player personnel decisions to the guy he’s paying $10 million a year, on a 10 year contract, to make those decisions.

No coach who is worth a shite wants to work for an AD who does that. Nor should they. It’s analogous to NFL owners who bypass their GMs and coaches to micromanage roster decisions, and it’s almost always a good sign of a dumpster fire. Woodward will judge Kelly based on overall results. Kelly will run the program as he sees fit unless or until Woodward decides (along with the boosters) that those results no longer meet expectations.

Meanwhile, Kelly will allow Nuss and Howard to compete for the job - not because Woodward “mandated” anything, but because Kelly’s not a fricking idiot and he, too, wants to win games.
