I’m going to live through yall on this one as I’m working, but I wanted to start this thread to remind everyone please be careful. This wind and cold is no joke. Even for the deer hunters. Chains start freezing up and metal acts funny. You maybe in a box stand but give yourself some extra time.

Now with that said, I want to see some dead animals.

Its 5:49an and I am sitting at my brother in laws house in north Georgia. Its 19 outside and the wind is blowing 25. At home, its currently 69 deg and will be sunny

I made a bad holiday decision.


Having some coffee about to walk out in this shite to get some service done on my truck at a friends dealership

Man that bed was warm but a shooter was here around 3am and a couple does were here from 420-445. I guess this means they aren’t bedded down at the moment. Didn't think they would be moving early in this wind but here we are. Mr Buddy and a mini Slim Jim (wedged in the door to keep it from knocking) to the rescue.

Temp was 24 in my truck
Sat in a box from 545 till 9am
Wind was blowing like a whore on bourbon street
Was warm, had a thermos of coffee and a honey bun but forgot my phone in the truck.
Sitting on a stand with no phone sucks.
Didn’t see a deer , I think our deer hibernate below 25 cus even night time pics ended at 2am

4 degrees -15 wind chill in NW Alabama I'm sitting in the house today and probably all weekend. I'm not that mad at them anymore.
