Does it not bother anyone that he has given up the most yards of any corner in the league, most big plays against, and the highest completion percentage against. He has given up the most big plays in the league each of the last three years. It's no suprise that Atlanta's defense is much better this year. The only good thing you can say about Hall is that he is the reason Devery Henderson wasn't out of the league three years ago and is therefore partly responsible for the Saints offensive success this year. Our corners have trouble, but bringing in the worst is retarded.

He plays opposite Asomugha and his offense can't make a first down. Hall has the potential to be one of the best corners in the game, he is definitely one of the fastest...someone just needs to control this crazy frick

God this guy is a whack job, but we are so desperate at this position. I'm torn on this one.

That is all he is. He got schooled at VT, schooled at Atlanta, and now schooled at Oakland.

Obviously he got thrown at alot because Asomugha is awesome, but its also because quarterbacks completed 65% of passes thrown at him. And he was no better the previous couple of seasons.

He can't be any worse than Jason David. With Porter out and Glenn aging it may be worth a look.

"Profootballtalk.com is hearing that the Giants are out of the bidding for free agent DeAngelo Hall. PFT also hears that the Saints are in." LINK

Hall has been okay, but man he was overpaid in Oakland.

He's definitely got the athletic ability..might as well take a flier on him if the price is right..it's not like he can do much worse than some of the Saints' cornerbacks.

i don't think people here understand....

we have jason david and aaron glenn playing significant snaps for us....we are in no position to quibble about how hall is an underachiever...his underachieving has more to do with motivation and team than talent....

I said it before the season and I'll say it again, hes the most overrated player in the league. He has so much potential but is a complete fricking waste of talent. He gets burned so much because hes too busy bitching at the refs about a offensive pass interference. Seriously, if he'd put half the emotion he does into complaining to coaches/refs on the field, he'd be a great player. He constantly gives up on plays too. This is a guy where his attitude actually is what is killing his game.
