i don't like hall but at a reasonable salary and role...nickle/dime i'd love to have him especially since he's from the division.

here's what hall said last year from pft:

quote:

Our moles who were in the Georgia Dome on Monday night tell us that, at one point during the game between New Orleans and Atlanta, Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall was overheard telling Saints coach Sean Payton, "I'll play for you for the minimum," or words to that effect.

lets see he's played for jim mora jr, bobby petrino, lane kiffin, and tom cable. i bet he 'd get his act together under a no non sense guy like payton.

he hasn't exactly been a bright spot on that oakland defense. Not that thats saying much, but its still something to make note.

He could be a good addition. Just don't overspend and handcuff us in the future.

I still think if you play for a shitty team it also brings down your spirits and makes you play like shite...but then again..what do I know? Im also a little concerned about his attitude...only reason i can see for night signing him.

It cant hurt if we bring him in for cheap. MM and Porter are hurt, plus Jason David, well we already know about him.

A guy like Hall can only make our defense better, so I say give him a look.

IF the price tag's right I don't see what we have to lose. Give him a deal for this season and next. He's still pretty young and showed some talent with Atlanta. If it doesn't work out, AMFYOYO.

They will wait until he clears waivers. The kid's only 24. I've said this before, but Oakland has a spell on players's skills...they go there to die. DHall would be titty sauce on a biscuit in black and gold. They must do this.

You are right I have listened to Sapp, Ray Buchanon, and some others that went to Oakland and said that the club is so polluted that it make you not play as well either because others don't put out the same effort and you know football is team sport, HOPE REVENGE AGAINST THE BIRDS MOTIVATE HIM TO SIGN WITH US

titty sauce on a biscuit sounds well rather disturbing but i'm an arse man so..

if he signs for just this year then yes

but a multi year contract for him would be a disastre. Don't follow in Big Al's footsteps.

He got a huge signing bonus from Oakland (I think $11 Million) so he doesn't need the money. I think he'd like to come to a team with some veterans and some structure. I say talk to Brees, Deuce, Vilma and MM and if they say they can keep him in check then absolutely bring him in.

I'm also sure he would love to have a chance to play against Atlanta twice a year.
