You can bet that each of them have a staffer whose job it is to monitor social media in general.

Really? Please provide an example of just one little tidbit that a staffer would have gotten from the Rant that was so significant that he needed to relay it to Kelly or Woodward.

I said social media in general. Do you really think people in positions like this just ignore the media/social media angle to their jobs? I’d be surprised if it isn’t part of someone’s job to pay attention to this sort of thing.

So no examples? Didn’t think so.

What in the world would they find noteworthy here that they wouldn’t already know?
We are in big trouble if they rely on anything from the rant

I'd guess they do have interns or staffers monitoring possible sources of information including TD. Not for opinions necessarily, but for any news or facts. Not as their primary source of intelligence gathering but to be complete. And maybe to keep an eye out for leaks. And to be honest, TD is generally pretty quick with news.

i can’t think of any specific example, but i could see them monitoring social media to stay ahead of any internal issues/rumors that may be starting to leak.

not meaning they find out about the issue/rumor itself, but rather monitoring if it’s growing legs publicly and may need to be addressed publicly

Have you ever held a job in the corporate world? Why don’t you give me some examples of big companies that don’t regularly monitor media and social media.

everyone takes a foray into the dark side of society called the internet, it's unlikely that they spend a lot of time here but it would be extremely naive to think they know nothing of its existence, one of my frat bros is is very high up on the LSU food chain(not athletics,) and he's on here all of the time

My whole 35 year career has been in the corporate world. I am looking for examples of something gleaned from the rant that would be useful for Brian Kelly in doing his job.
That’s what the OP was referring to.

I hope they don’t waste as much time on it as I do.

Hoping this is sarcasm.

The rant, while addicting, is deranged.

I picture them with drinks containing more expensive bourbon then most on this board can afford, yucking it up and laughing at the ignorant posts found on here.

Seriously, they pay no mind to internet forum based content, especially on a free site. This is a sports entertainment site.

Probably not. More importantly, I truly hope the players don’t… (but probably do).

Admins on here have stated that admin at LSU monitors this board. What they do with that info is probably not known. If you think Pomansky wasn't closely monitoring the board, and attempting to control narratives with his Tiger Ree, Pirate King, First Cut type of posters, than I have a beautiful mountain view home in Holy Beach I would love to sell you.

I haven’t seen CBK refreshing his phone during games. But he probably pays one of his analysts to monitor the board during the first half and provide a report by halftime. This has probably helped us make such good adjustments at halftime and become known as a second half team.
