The main thing that has me excited about Daniels, is that although there are still things that need to be improved, he is light years better now as a passer than he was in September. I don’t know how that can be argued. Now give Kelly and his staff another Spring and Summer with him (assuming he stays, which I suspect he will) and how can you not be excited about next year??

he is and will be a next level QB, like it or not. NFL scouts see him as such.

Supporting cast is worn down by a long season. This is what happens when you don’t have depth. CBK will have depth. Just doesn’t yet.
I, for one, am enjoying year one being a massive success, regardless of the outcome of the next two games. We project really well moving forward.
JD has been a crucial part of our success and we should be grateful to have him.

Some of this is a stretch. He seems to be a good kid that works hard and is a talented QB that played a major roll in our big wins, but his flaws as a passer (not recognizing when receivers are open, waiting too long to make reads, inaccuracy, etc.) also were a big part of why the offense struggled at times. His regression past two games are particularly concerning and have me questioning whether I hope he returns or not.

8. Had he decided to go to aTm instead of LSU, they are most likely undefeated and playing in our place this weekend.
Uhhhh..... no.

Clean up #7 & we’re good.
Break every record known to man on the way to an undefeated season, destroy your knee while the ink on your NFL contract is still wet, come back & take a losing franchise to a Super Bowl… then maybe get compared to Joe Burrow.

if Howard comes in and shows he can stretch the field and get the ball to playmakers, Kelly is going to have a real difficult decision to make.
Not really. Howard as QB1 at that point would be a "no brainer"...

Even weak armed Max was hitting WRs in stride for big YAC. Maybe another off season will make a difference for JD. I hope so.
Yes and Yes, Max let go of it on last play with a few seconds remaining. His receiver made the catch to beat atm. With the first losing record LSU team in over 20yrs.
Throw the damn ball Jayden …

Begging you to do the tiniest amount of research before writing a post this long. (He is a true senior, but has an extra year of eligibility because of the covid year)

Jayden is not a good or even average QB. Cannot see the field. That's what my eyes see. Also, he is often wildly inaccurate. I would like to see someone else play as he has held the offense back all year long.

I would love to hear a breakdown of the LSU offense against aggie… a half-dozen plays with all the time in the world and he didn’t let it fly
