How is it? Granted, NOLA has numerous great restaurants, I always liked this place, but have not been since 2004...
Thanks!

Thanks!

It was always good after playing for 8 hours in the poker room. Haven't been in a long time though.

For the price its HORRIBLE.. If its free its ok.. The fried chicken is actually pretty good though. Everything else is pretty bad. Best casino buffet I have ever had was Harrahs in Reno. 12 bucks and they had NY strip (American Kobe) cooked to your order as well as a good Pho and a pretty extreme selection.

Yeah it is really expensive for what you get, the sunday one is 40 or 50 bucks a person.

40 or 50 for their buffet? Screw that.. I would rather go eat at Besh's Steakhouse. I like a really late breakfast there though. I generally only eat it if Im comped though.

yeah, it's a giant ripoff, and usually dirt as hell and the food is awful.
Hell, Hard Rock in Biloxi is half the price and really good. Beef that is actually not overcooked, lot of good ethnic food (pho, sushi, etc), solid soul food. I actually drove there one Saturday to eat and probably came out ahead when you factor in price, quality, and the clusterfrick/horrible winning percentage at Harrah's. I hate the New Orleans Harrah's.

I did not think that is was too bad. Of course, everytime I have eaten there it has been free.

the breakfast is better than lunch or dinner...but breakfast is nearly impossible to screw up. Hell, picadilly breakfast buffet beats the hell out of Harrah's, at half the price.

Why would you go to Harrah's for breakfast, Les?

he's been there all night partying, brah.

Yea Harrahs is horrible for having tight machines in NOLA. Here is what I do.. There are 25 cent roulette machines well I play 5 dollars on black and 5 dollars on red and they only have 1 green number. Play that for 30 min get my free parking and some nice comp points..
Probably the best odds not to lose in the entire casino..
