It would be cool to get Tulane back on schedule for an OOC game, but as a bowl opponent that would be incredibly uninspiring.

When someone mentions Tulane, a good Tiger fan should ask “Who?” Either that or lay a nice string of expletives together to describe them.

of all the possible matchups ... I want to ask one thing:

why?

LSU-Tulane doesn't matter anymore. we haven't played them in 13 years. It isn't a rivalry. It never was. I understand the history, but it's ancient at this point.

There's a (slim) possibility that LSU could play Tulane in the Cotton Bowl.

But I agree with the rest that a matchup with Tulane would do LSU no good at all.

frick ever playing Tulane again. Never got the interest some LSU fans have in playing this shitty school. Like playing Southern or Troy. Zero excitement. Maybe it’s a south Louisiana thing.

It would screw NOLA out of a lot of revenue in the hospitality sector.

Talk about screwing over the New Orleans hospitality industry. No 3 night hotel stays, dining out for all meals, etc.
