Our receivers will get one on one coverage they just have to beat it and Lee must deliver. We will know at the end of the 1st quarter if we can hang.
There's other ways to beat the blitz. We have to roll out the pocket and run those sweeps (to Holliday preferably) that'll keep the blitz honest.
We're pretty fast on offense. If we can force them to respect our speed to the outside, it'll make them tentative to send the house.
But really, we just need to get off to a good start. Both UF and UGA started in the worst possible way, and we never recovered.
No mistakes early so we don't play from behind.

I wish LSU would get Trindon running more vertical. One of things that Florida does with Demps is run him up the middle. If there is a seam, he's gone. We always run Trindon on sweeps.

i'm an LSU fan diehard,but i have just come to terms with it.
Lee is not an elite QB right now. By his senior year, I predict that he will be the best QB in the SEC. He has a quick release, a strong arm, and enough height. There are just some minor things that he must change, like going through his progressions and not staring down a receiver. He will learn, and it might be painful for the first two years. But remember this, Mattew Sttaford and Colt McCoy threw a lot of INTs their first two years. Lee will improve, and it will be a pleasure for all LSU fans to watch him succede.

- strong DL play - keep rotating
- stay in the nickel to cover the back out of the backfield
2. OFFENSE:
- deviate from the normal playcalling - TH up the middle, CS as fullback, et,
- pass on 1st down sometimes
- help JL - roll him out of the pocket
- overuse the screen
- throw the occasional deep ball, even if it's overthrown, just to keep Bama honest
3. OTHERS:
- don't believe the hype - Alabama's opponent's w-l record - 29-40; UGA is the only team they've beaten with a winning record. They're good, but not great
- be good fans and stay loud

Bama's plane needs to breakdown and they have to forfeit for LSU to win.
