2. Shane
3. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
4. The Magnificent Seven
5. Once Upon A Time in the West

There are another 10-15 movies i could add- The Clint Eastwood ‘Man With No Name’ trilogy, Hondo, The Long Riders, The Searchers, Stagecoach, True Grit, High Noon, etc.

But Red River is probably the quintessential American Western. I mean they're driving cattle...and staking claims to land...and fighting...and John Wayne at his peak.
