That or random fields.

Must be a NE LA thing. I lost track of how many cotton fields between Monroe and Jones we would go drink at. Add boat launches to that list too. Hamilton Lake was always a top 5 spot. However, we all lived on the edge of a swamp in Monroe and just about every weekend we went camping out/4 wheeler riding which was just slang that we got no curfew but the downside to that was you actually had to load up camping shite to make it look legit.

Just making the loop through town, finding which parking lot everybody was posted up at that night. Or out in the national forest to drink beer.

No shite. I have been here since 1995. I wondered what ya'll did back in the day? LOL. My son graduated from Kingwood HS in '17. I felt so bad because his crew really had nowhere to go without getting messed with by HPD, which you obviously didn't have to deal with.

We basically built bonfires from old pallets, drank beer, listened to music and just hung out. It was a little more wooded and secluded than it is now. This was early 80’s. I was a freshman when KHS opened, so first class to go all 4 years. There was also a game room on 494 and a skating rink on Russell Palmer

Pizza Inn after high school football games

I loved that Pizza Inn on Vets/Severn. Lots of childhood memories there, many birthday parties.

PeppeRoni's pizza on West Esplanade was our favorite, but most of the pizza joints in Metairie, Luther's. Anyplace that had a couple video games.

Dead serious, a cop had to be posted at sonic to run all the highschoolers who weren't buying anything off.
