I feel that lots of fans are going to really be let down. If the guy was that good, he'd be playing. The coaches who are out there everyday with the kid know what the guy can do. If he was better than Lee or Hatch, he'd be playing. I

What is wrong with you people? From diamond in the rough to a bust before he gets any meaningful playing time?

This is a fricked up place.

Given Miles eye for talent, I'd say the odds are he will be a bust

What if he is ? is that so much different than where we are now.....I like Lee...Think he will be a good QB, but what will it hurt for JJ to come in and change the pace of the game....he has the ability to open up the game alittle more than Lee with his running ability and that will help create more plays, rather good or bad i really dont think that he can really be a bust for the remainder of this season because it would be hard for him to top Lee's Pick 6 preformances this year.....Now if he does not show up for the rest of his time @ LSU yes then i would say he would be sort of a bust.... I would also like to see how RS is gonna turn out also as a QB...i am not familier with his passing game but i hear that he is a great runner.....i hope that we are not digging our self in a hole for the future @ the QB position with all these great Athletes @ QB but have a hard time making plays down the field...Chris Garret has a great story but he also could not be the QB that we think he is... I still think that Lee will be our man...btw the 2 Qb system....HATE IT ! wish we would go with just one guy.....

I am not sure how you came to this conclusion. I hope you were joking. If you speaking about judgement on talent at QB, I think you are wrong. I know Russell wasn't one of Miles' recruits, but he developed him pretty well. He had a talented Flynn and super talented Perrilloux (who he had widdled away from Texas) on the team.

Last year, he had Perrilloux sitting there and he decided to go with Flynn and we won the National Championship. You can say that Perrilloux was a bust but he did help us win the National Championship. RP was very talented, but he had his issues and was ultimately kicked off the team.

I think both Lee and Jefferson are talented players. You can't expect them to be all worldly in their first year starting. I think incoming recruit Russell Shepard is very talented. I think he has a good eye for talent. We just need to give him time. Look what he did for JR. JR couldn't overtake Marcus Randall in his freshman year.

Fixed.

We have a bunch of people on here that ride high on guys that have never stepped on the field. Most of the time they have never seen that player play.

But I guess if you lock yourself in your room late at night and watch Rivals highlight tapes on repeat, then you must truly know alot about football and great players.

I was at practice this week and Jefferson looked very good. Throws a great ball, honestly didn't see alot of difference in Lee and him as far as arm strength. J can move really well. J got alot of reps.
