No one is trashing him, just telling the truth. There is nothing wrong with the truth, yes, it hurts, but its the truth!!! he is what he is, and he is the one not throwing the ball to the best position group on the team to give them a chance to make a play! Last game 3rd & 1 from midfield, they call play for go route, Daniels holds the ball and Kelly gets pissed for not throwing the ball!!

he’s not nearly the quarterback that LJ is to play that type of style

Lamar has grown into the QB he is today. he wasn't always a good thrower. here is a quote from when LSU faced him.

quote:

Jackson looked anything but Heisman-like, especially in the first half. He had minus-24 yards on 12 carries in the first 30 minutes and was sacked five times over that span.

He completed just 2-of-10 passes in the opening half, and the Cardinals did not convert a third-down situation, while the Tigers were able to build a somewhat comfortable 16-6 lead at halftime.

based on PFF grades QB has been our best position group this season

I have no clue why anyone is bitching about Daniels play when our RBs combined for 14 yards on 11 carries while Tennessee ran for 263 yards on the day.

Even if you hate Daniels at QB it should be clear he is not the one holding our team back

Yes. He's a worse passer than Jefferson with better wheels. He's bad, and if he's back again next year, I'll be checking out until he's gone, and I think a lot of other people will too.

Perhaps Kelly doesn't understand what LSU fans have been through with Jefferson, Lee, Harris, Jennings, etc. It's like PTSD. We don't want to relive those years again.

He is bad at passing the football. Overall at QB he is serviceable.

I’ll tell you what he sees that others don’t: Nuss tossing pick 6s in practice.

Any time you get frustrated with Daniels, please try to remember he beat out the guy you’re chomping at the bit for.

Whatever it is, CBK sees something in Daniels that a lot of people here don’t see. It’s apparent that JD will be a big part of this program going forward and will probably be our starter next year - trashing him on the internet isn’t productive and won’t make anything any better

This board has made constant excuses as to his play at Arizona State about bad coaching.

Now people ate making excuses about his play at LSU about it is everyone else fault but his.

See a common denominator?

Daniels isn’t a good passer. That has nothing to do with how much money a coach makes.

He is on pace to throw 13TD maybe 12TD this year which is around his average.

Is that anywhere near acceptable for the SEC?

Now do Myles Brennan

because we have film on him in SEC play. He wasnt pick prone, and could throw a WR open, as well as read defenses, and averaged less sacks than JD currently is

I dont know what you are disagreeing with. I was asking how you think Hendon Hooker would do as QB of this team.

I agree with everything you said about JD.

Was johnson a bad QB last season?
Do you believe Daniels will surpass Johnson's stats?

In your head you wish it were true.
If you are at practice, show us the pictures.

This is spot on, I’ve never seen so much love for a player that quit the team twice

How much did Miles get paid to watch JJ never cross the 50 on 1/9/12?

I went to my first game of the season Saturday and it’s so much worse in person. Receivers running open all over the field.
