You know how the fish grows in the story every time one tells it? That’s what’s happening here, the feats of strength proposed here are absurd for even the world’s strongest man competitors. And if true, these stories show him in an absolutely terrible light, beating up police officers? Everyone having to leave the bar when he showed up? Wtf kind of shite is this?

Hey look, the biggest shitposter on the board enters to try to derail the thread.

Confine your shitposting to one post and not multiple. Nobody gives a shite what you have to say.

Better yet, go start another 1000-downvote thread.

And by the way this is the guy who put Cantrelle on his arse.

Sucker-punched him, you mean. That’s an old story which the poster probably googled. It’s common knowledge Laputka sucker punched AC like a little bitch.

Boy, that guy sure cleared out of this thread.

Art got challenged all the time. Guys who didn’t go to college and lived on the other side of the river would pick fights with him, just to be able to go back to the plants and tell the story of fighting Art, even if they lost. Art and Chris Danten were in the Passtime Lounge with dates when this happened. Art tried to beg off but one of the jerks flipped the pony tail of Chris’s date. Chris jumped up but Art had already jumped across the table and conked the two dudes heads together and knocked them out.

The old saying was if LSU needed a touchdown, put a Budweiser on the goal line.

The legend of Art Cantrelle will live on forever... having known him while at LSU in the late 60's, I never knew a meaner sob when it came to fight time, whether down the bayou, on the Mississippi Gulfcoast, or in B.R.

I never met Art Cantrelle but I do know a number of guys that played with him and to a man, they all consider him a good teammate.

From the people that were there, it seems Laputka sucker punched him. Yeah, real tough guy.

When Cantrelle came to, instead of attempting to beat Laputka’s arse, he ran for a pistol. Yeah, real tough guy.

t’s funny how after smartphones, we have way less instances of people slinging 900 pound machines around as if it were a traffic cone.

Speaking of 900 pound pinball machines, according to my smart phone google search, the vintage machines weighed between 200-350 pounds depending on their quality.

Even at that weight, no one is picking up a cumbersome machine at that weight and swinging it around as a weapon.

I was a bouncer there and you guys left out the most roided freak that would have slung everyone of the guys mentioned because i saw him tear through 5 guys and saw him destroy a car with his bare hands...ripped the hood and both doors off and pulled the seats out......Bill Elko

heard stories about how Ensminger had a quick/bad temper and did a lot of damage at Faps (now Fred’s)

was around him a lot at LSU, never saw any of this, Atiyeh was the manster of that team, there were others, Domingue wasn't really a super badass, just a hothead that used a knife one night

ETA: there were several defensive guys that you didn't want to frick with
