If they are college students, they probably feel right at home with this.

Sketchy arse people in a lot of dorms.

Yeah I'd take both of those over Starbucks anyways. I guess CC's is "local" for Baton Rouge since it's home base is there.

In grad school when I lived in BR, I'd camp out at the CC's on Jefferson. They used to have huge tables and damn strong WIFI in there. Quiet most of the day and they sold pretty good snacks too. Perfect for studying in groups.

Then Coffee Call if it was after 9PM because they used to be open till 1 or 2. I fricking love that place and I wish they'd find a more distinctive location.

If chain coffee joints had to open up near me, I'd much prefer Peet's, CC's, or PJ's over Starbucks.

He's missing the point. He needs to focus on pronouns and misgendering. As soon as we start using the correct pronouns for everyone, we should start getting the crime situation under control.

And yet somehow they didn’t manage to relocate to OKC either of the last two times he left.

While there are still Starbucks around, they closed a lot of locations in the area because the local companies had such strong traction.

Same here in Lafayette, with Jet, Reve, Huya, and CC's I don't ever visit Starbucks unless I'm in an airport.

WTF does this even mean?

You pro-kiddie diddlers really have no clue. A groomer donor is calling our groomer leadership and the pro-groomers come to the thread to insult people who aren't part of that party. Really spectacular to see.

No way this idiot didn't have his corp donate to the same politicians that are destroying his business. Left wing hypocrisy continues.

For these sixteen stores, there's probably 5-10 times that many across places like Walker for example that don't have these issues to this extent. So their strategy makes sense.

Exactly. Then you’ve also got the homeless to deal with in addition to the woke liberals you mention above. No thanks.

That's rich coming from the guy who is cool with homeless people coming in to use their restrooms and sit at their tables thereby denying a paying customer a table.

i was in Harlingen, TX and finished up a meeting but couldn't check into my hotel yet so i went to a starbucks close by. There was obviously homeless guy pacing back and forth around their patio yelling. i can handle myself and went in. as crazy as he looked, he was harmless. i got my coffee and worked for a bit. other patrons kinda timed when he wasn't close to the door and left. then i saw a dozen people pull up, see the guy, and drive off. then people with pickup orders called and asked them to take it out to him.

store completely cleared out except me. dude was yelling scriptures and seemed harmless, but very aggressively pacing all around. As kind as it was, they took him a water, but also kept him around and people kept pulling up and leaving.

i'm not insensitive to mental health or homelessness, but the guy was a vagrant and ruining their business, but the manager said they weren't going do anything about it.

Guess that didn't work out so well.

Starbucks supports politicians who promised to do the very things he's upset about.

Screw Starbucks and it's CEO.

They are never getting even a single penny of my money.

Well it sounds to me like the ones paying the ridiculous amount for overpriced crap like Starbucks already are mentally ill. Go to the gas station and grab a cheap cup of real coffee.....the kind that will put hair on your chest!
