GM Authority recently learned that the automaker will equip all new 2022 model-year and 2023 model-year Buick and GMC vehicles with a three-year OnStar and Connected Services Plan (RPO code R9M). The plans will cost between $905 and $1,675, depending on the chosen trim level. GM said the cost of the three-year plan will be integrated into the vehicle’s MSRP

Yay. Today, BMW charges subscription for heated seats.
Tomorrow, subscription for adjustable mirrors.

They are free to add anything they want to their cars. I am free to not buy them. Seems to work.

Buick won’t be around by 2030.

They’re target demographic is age 60-80, half of which will be dead by then.

The buyer has the option of removing the added charge and not subscribing to the services.

onstar and shitty compression sirius radio. can't believe people still pay for either of these digital snakeoils.

if it wasnt for smart phones we'd still be paying for 'quarterly gps map updates'.

GMC doesn’t make enough already for truck and SUV prices?

I like their trucks. They have always priced me out.

1000%

Just like the great reset. You'll own nothing and you'll be happy.
