We would be paying a premium for a backup but that’s what championship contending teams do.
Do they?

The last 2 titles teams didn't have backups making $24mil.

Isn’t Bojangles coming off an ACL at 33? Still though, he’s a shooter so I wouldn’t be worried about the injury. He’d be a liability on defense though and I’m not sure how Willie would like that.

GSW is so far into the repeater tax they may be paying that despite contract values being ostensibly lower.

Mike Conley turns 35 before the season tips off. He makes a lot of money. I don’t think it makes sense to trade for him

I rather try and get Doug McDermott away from San Antonio anyway. He is younger, a career 40% 3 point shooter, and only 2 years left on contact. Trade Graham and some kind of pick.

The OP ran away from his own thread real quick when he got that lesson in how NBA trades work.

No dumbass I didn’t. You can absolutely make the numbers work, you may just not like what you have to send out. I’d be happy with just bojan.

And to the dumbass who said we would have to send first rounders, you are wrong, do some research next time before you start spouting bullshite.

So why won't you answer the question?

Jax/Temple/Hayes barely gets you halfway there. Who else are you sending to make the money work?

Since you understand how trades work, should be easy for you to answer and not disappear...

Yeah I'll take bojan

Conley would be nice if he was making what graham makes.

Conley will be 35 when the season starts
24 mil for a 35 yr old mike conley is crazy.

I agree. You got downvoted to hell lol. I agree though. We all love our guys. Trey, and Jose. But if some of their minutes are sacrificed a year or so for Good veterans that’s ok too. But they could play the lesser role as well and in’s if those guys rams the minutes. But having more talent on your team is always valuable if it can be done without giving up too much current talent. So we give up a little of the fit tire for a major present in the prime and upcoming primes of our best 4 players

If we talking pure numbers, hayes/temple/Kira/nance/graham is a successful trade.

But they are trying to attach firsts to dump them. Meaning they aren’t wanting to take back any salary. We would have to shed those salaries in different moves, then take on the jazz players. Like a 3 team deal or something but no one is going to just take our trash. You are one ignorant motherfricker to sit here and say it’s impossible.

It should be impossible because that's a damn terrible deal.

I have zero desire to get either of those aging vets who aren't all that good anymore.
Unless we were doing a Jax/DG for Bojan, which is just a way to turn DG into an expiring deal, it makes zero sense for us to do this.

And the Jazz aren't going to give up a 1st to trade an expiring Bojan. That makes zero sense.

Bojan can still shoot, but his defense was just horrible last season. He's past his expiration date -- DO NOT WANT.

Oh, so no we're adding Nance to this deal?

So your trade hypothetical is unrealistic, got it.

Your takes are so bad. A three team trade can facilitate that and all you can do is put a laughing emoji. Ah the sign of a losing argument.
