LOL I knew this was coming. Never change OT. I'm not Chris but it was a really easy deal. No pushing in finance room. Just passing on a good experience which is rare now. Every Ford dealer wanted to break it off in me for a new Raptor.

I've bought a truck there before. They're some good baws.

I've also had luck at Service in Lafayette for Chevys.

They aren’t going to work a deal with people buying Raptors and High Country trim levels. You’ve already showed them that you have poor judgement.
Don't worry about me, i'll be just fine.

Not in today’s market, they have way more buyers than vehicles to sale.

Try cargurus. We just bought one below MSRP

Genuine question: What do these kinds of websites do for car buyers?

I work at a CDJR store. We sell (almost) everything under MSRP and have been the whole time. We have been very fortunate that we have been able to keep a pretty good inventory throughout. I’m not in sales, but I know a little about it, first, dealers hate cash deals…..piss and moan all you want about it, but that’s reality. There are two opportunities for profit on a car deal, front end…the selling price, back end…..financing and selling products….warranties, gap insurance , etc. different dealers take different approaches, we sell well below MSRP to get the opportunity to sell back end products. Some people don’t buy that stuff, and that’s ok with us. Probably 25% of our sales come from out of state because we really do sell cheaper, make a little, sell a bunch, profit.

You're a fool to buy now. Paying the MSRP is stupid much less an add on. Wait 18 months.

Is everyone doing this right now? Are there any dealers sticking to MSRP with little to no fees?
Truck MSRP $46,000
But wait, there is a $6000 add-on package.
It's literally tint, wheel locks, and floor mats.

If you wanna charge a markup just say it dude.

Those wheel locks are really nice, though.

I had a Ford dealer do the same thing with a king ranch . Window etching, wheel locks, leather and paint protector all added up to 2k. And they said removing that 2k was no longer optional. So I walked, I’m loving my new Z71 now

Ask for the cash payment price.

The dealer wants you to finance and not pay cash because they get a kick-back from the finance company.

It would be damn hard to come out of pocket with aftermarket wheel locks, floor mats and tint and make it all equal $6,000. I would tell them that.

That’s not MSRP. That’s a fake markup so the manufacturer doesn’t get mad at them for charging over MSRP

At the same time, other people are going to pay over MSRP for that truck, so you are too OP

Look up leasecompanion.com. If you are ok with ram you can get 10-15% off and a hassle free experience. You dont have to lease you can buy.
