How so? Conventional story - dad has a bunch of sons, those sons are all badasses. One of them takes on Rome. An underdog story, for sure.
But, Alexander? His mother was a witch and who likely killed his father and enough of his family to put young Alexander on the throne. He was at the perfect time and place (and with his father's army) in history to conquer the known world. Wounded (seriously) 9 times in battle. Never lost a battle. Was a student of legendary philosopher Aristotle (himself a student of Plato, who studied under Socrates). Rumors persist that Aristotle poisoned Alexander to prevent another round of wars of conquest.

I’m going to have to go with Hitler on this one. He basically had no talent at anything but somehow managed to weasel his way into power and ended up being one of, if not the most, infamous people of all time.

Regardless of your thoughts on Jesus, (I believe He is who He said He is, and is coming again) think about this guy for a second. He hung out in close proximity to the most polarizing figure ever for 3 years. Ate with him, farted, fished, traveled - all that. And for 30 pieces of silver turns him in. I've always wondered if he had some sort of a "force the moment" motivation. Like, if Jesus is about to be arrested, then he'll have to show them all up and display all his power? Or maybe he really was just a dirty, cold-hearted dude?
Most "fascinating" historical figures are documented and analyzed ad nauseum. The ones where we don't know much about them - yet they played a key role - are the ones who pique my interest.

Agreed. What’s the real story? Maybe he rolled on Jesus because he knew he was pulling a big fake? Tried to blackmail Jesus and he won’t cut him in the profits? LOL . Joking. Kinda .
