Is Extras as good as The Office

I love The Office (both the original and the American version). I have recently rewatched the entire original version. I have never seen Extras but I have heard it is good too. Is it worth my time?

i really liked ricky gervais on the british office...but i found extras to be pretty overrated.

I liked it as much as the office UK... The office UK was no different than the US Office in that some episodes were great and some were terrible. Same can be said of Extras.

Season 1 of Extras is far funnier than the second season.

Guys, thanks for the input. I rented the first season and I'm going to watch part of it tonight.
