Wow, this POS has quite the criminal history. Multiple felonies and misdemeanors all over the place. Definitely cannot legally own a firearm.
I could not find a single arrest in EBR going back to 2013

Everyone who knows how to fix the crime problem at BRPD has left or retired. There are only incompetent political appointees left in charge. It’s going to get worse.

Back in the seventies in Nola this guy’s face would be covered with blood, multiple contusions and stitches. Modern day Baton Rouge, he may be given the key to the city.

Man I’m telling you something isn’t sitting right - this dude wasn’t some rabid TPOS. Very friendly, respectful old man.
The story seems odd to me as well. Why would you kidnap someone and just go one level up in a parking garage to do your sexual assaulting? wouldn't you want to get out of the area so it would be less likely to get caught? not saying this is what happened at all, but kind of sounds like a john picked up a working girl, took her up a level in the parking garage, when they got finished there was a disagreement with her pimp then shots fired. just saying, I'm probably wrong though. The perp, admitted to watching women in the parking lot. What an all time terrible criminal?

more senior citizen programs would've prevented this.
Senior citizen basketball and oldies night is a must.

Well, we do have precedent for that

Nothing personal at all, I just find it weird that you are sympathizing so hard with somebody who would do this kind of thing. I mean, only the shadow knows what lies inside a man, right?

That is an interesting thought, not that they will, but a picture of the victim would clear this up quickly, and interesting no one has claimed to know the victim, and that is odd around here
and Sunday night it was reported as a Domestic issue.....something aint right

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman after he abducted her from a shopping center parking garage was arrested for rape in at least three other cases dating back decades.
According to the Louisiana Department of Corrections, 69-year-old Leon Curry III was released from state custody in 2006 after serving his sentence for a 1973 armed robbery in which he allegedly raped a dry cleaning clerk in Baton Rouge.
Curry was convicted of robbery in that case, though prosecutors never pursued charges for the sexual assault. He was also arrested for two other rapes around the same time, but it does not appear he was prosecuted in either of those cases.

BATON ROUGE - A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman after he abducted her from a shopping center parking garage was arrested for rape in at least three other cases dating back decades.

Curry was back in custody Monday after sheriff's deputies identified him as a suspect in the Perkins Rowe kidnapping. The victim told investigators she was getting into her car when Curry jumped her and abducted her at gunpoint. He then allegedly drove the victim to another part of the parking garage where he assaulted her.
The sheriff's office said the woman's boyfriend caught Curry driving off with the victim and fired a gun at the suspect. The victim then leapt from her own vehicle as Curry used it to flee the shopping center, deputies said.
Long Prison Sentence
I found a total of an additional 11 Gross Misdemeanors on this animal.

First rule for women other than staying in safe places.....NEVER EVER get into their car!! You'd be better off getting shot at that point but you clearly have a better chance of getting away then than to let someone take you off and tie your hands or incapacitate you at some point.

But she did not get in his car, he got in hers,

Something smells fishy about this whole story

Pushes her into her car, goes to another location and , then brings her back to the original location ? Why? Where her “boyfriend “ is waiting
Story is first released as domestic disturbance…why….next day it is kidnapping and sexual assault, did the story change that quickly or was it just a lie from the beginning
The whole thing sounds fishy to me

Fair enough, I see your point now. I guess we'll have to wait for all the facts to come out to get the true story. That said with this guy's track record, I do not doubt he kidnapped and assaulted this woman.

I may be completely wrong, but sounds like a hooker/John meet up that went wrong and “pimp” intervened
