The rant is like the aftermath of the Arkansas game last year. Not bad of a year right?
ONE loss people. Our damn strong team will rebound. Have some faith.

Yeah, I had a bad feeling going into that game. Not saying I knew something just was a little worried and we played poorly.

We'll get back in the saddle again. I'm headed to SC this Saturday to watch us get back in it. Geaux Tigers Forever LSU

It's not just losing that's so discouraging, but how badly we lost. If we can right the ship next week at SC, then we can chalk this up to just a bad night. If we lose at SC, then we'll know that we are in serious trouble.

This is how I see it as well. USCe has a completely different offense than UF, and one that we should be able to hold down.

LSU 24
USCe 13

I am sure that we will, I think the D Line will show up in Columbia with a major chip on their shoulder. I have faith we will turn it around but we have alot of work/improvment to do.

Serious question........when was the last time we lost two in a row?

I for one think we come out and play a great game Saturday night. That's not me being hopeful, that's me lookin at it with the understanding of LSU football and the people we have in the program. We're just too good to lose two in a row.

Folks ...
Being a realist is not ceasing to be a fan.
Putting you head in the snd does not make the problem go away.

We have been having problems with our D for a while....refusing to see it will only make it worse.
We have been allowing too many pts to minor teams...
this is a wake up calls, not only to fans, but to Miles also.
I think he has been trying to be a "good guy" and "performance' has to rank higher.
Business is Business.

I also do not think the sky is falling in, but make no mistake, we are in the SEC and the film will be viewed and the problem exploited until fixed.

I know the line can/will do better...but
a)the secondary is another matter at this point.
b)the schemes and "urgency" ON D need serious upgrading also

Wasn't the average number of losses predicted for LSU for this board 2-3 this year? Maybe it's the way we loss, that has everyone up in a wad.

It is not the loss.....

It is the vulnerabilities and deficiencies shown.

I agree. I'm not trying to stick my head in the snow. I really and truly believe with the people that we have we should be able to make this a one time occurrence. In the long run (at the end of the season) however I would definately support getting a coordinator. And not because the 2 coordinator system doesn't work.......cuz I'm pretty sure Florida does that with Strong and Mattison.

I think the biggest thing Saturday night was gettin punked for 20 points almost instantaneously and not having the leader and experience to get us right back. We DID fight back, we CAME back and played offense AND defense. But when they answered right back in the 3rd quarter......we didnt have what it took to get back into it. I have faith that it won't happen again like that.

This kind of loss is new for the bandwagoneers. Me? been there and done that. Spurrier would've hung 65 on us.

I remember watching those games just hoping LSU would stay within 21. The old ball coach really drilled us back then.

So what makes a person a "bandwagoneer"? Is it people that are pissed off because our defense has been obviously regressing this year? Is it people that think that if we cannot solve the problems in the secondary our defense will be exposed time and time again? Is it people that are pissed that our team had two weeks to prepare for Florida and this is the result we get, with our head coach making comments that the players still have not learned their assignments?

Just because my concerns and fears about this team were realized Saturday and there seems to be no real evidence that it will be fixed anytime soon doesn't make me less of a fan, it doesn't change my love and support for LSU, but it also doesnt mean that I have to keep drinking the purple koolaid.
