I’m okay with Jones. He seems to like contact. His biggest issue is being out of position. Playing defensive back is new to him. He was a QB in high school. Hopefully the new DC can get him in the right positions.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Foucha at SS.

Strong Safety is probably the weakest spot on the team. I'm really worried about that position especially in terms of reliable tackling.

That Tight end position is not very good unless Taylor comes in and plays well. We definitely need one more portal guy at that position.

TE is definitely the weakest position on the team.
SS and CB are probably next.
Getting Frazier and Shorts will make the O-line much better than expected. We are a true center away from having a really good starting 5. Frazier and Shorts will allow two younger guys to be able to be quality backups instead of having to start this year.

Speculation is fun but as far as portal transfers being instant fixes, I'll believe it when I actually see it. As all LSU fans we hope, but we shall see.
