Is it the book that is bad, or is it the literary industry itself that is bad?

A friend of mine also likened it to going inside one of those Dharma Initiative videos in Lost.
Definitely digging this show so far.

It’s like a cross between Black Mirror and The Office

Really enjoying it. I binged it this week and am ready for the next episode. Curious to see some other characters outies. I wonder what the relationship between John Tutturo and Walken is on the outside.

Been thinking about the show and something struck me as really weird. It seems there are just never a lot of other people around. In Mark's condo complex, on the roads, at the diner, and especially at the office building. Not a lot of cars in the parking lot for such a large office building. And not a lot of folks inside the building when you see Mark arriving or leaving. Weird.

Wtf is going on. Every time I think I got it figured out then something else happens that throw me off, like the closet scene from today...

The closet scene was crazy.
I still can’t believe such a horrible book may be the cause of an uprising.

Great show! Really interested in we’re this story goes. Anyone know who the girl was that met with mark at the end of the latest episode?

Agree. It’s so darn intriguing. So far I have no theories on what’s happening

No idea. I thought it was going to be Petey’s daughter.
Didn’t he say that where they met was where his wife taught school? That was strange.

I can’t help thinking Ben Stiller has been fairly heavily involved in the writing for Ricken.

This show keeps peeling back layers of possibilities on little glimpses like this.
Also wish I didn’t know about this show until about 3 years down the road because I would binge the crap out of it

Though not stated bluntly, it is heavily implied that the woman Mark met at the end of episode 6 is Reghabi(sp). She is the activist/former employee who reintegrated Petey and who Selvig is trying to find.

Yea its gotta be her bc Graner said something about she was held up at some old lab building.

I wonder if Helly is working with her since her outie refuses her to quit. I wonder if she’s trying to take things down from the inside.

This is exactly what I was thinking

Agreed. In an earlier episode, Mark told Petey that no one lives on the other side of him (opposite Mrs. Selvig) and that "the neighborhood never really filled up."
Definitely something to the desolation of those places and the town in general. It's like they've been placed there just to be monitored.
And some of the other people we actually do see are slightly off. What's up with that weird couple from the birthing cottages?
