Give it about 8-10 rides before you decide if you need a different seat. I got used to it pretty quick, and it will soften up some over time. I thought about getting a padded seat cover, but my wife reminded me that those always slid around when we used to do spin classes together at the gym back in the day. I only notice the seat being hard now when I'm doing a long climb in a ride where you're seated for more than 4-5 minutes straight at high resistance. I do a bunch of interval training where you're up and down a bit, and only on the longer rides do I even notice the seat. Get a set of padded bike shorts instead.

I thought this as well on my first few rides, but now after a week of riding, either I've gotten used to it, or the seat has soften up enough that I don't have a sore arse anymore

I was about to go get my Brooks saddle off my real bike after my first ride
