Awesome jerseys. And mix up colors worn for Fri-Sat-Sun SEC games. White, purple, yellow in same sequence every weekend needs a change up.

"Louisiana" script kicks arse - but only in button up!
I don't often say the "H" word but hate isn't strong enough to describe how I feel about pull overs.
You could have thrown a freaking Car Cover over me with a hole for my head to stick out but if it didn't have buttons down the front I felt restricted.
I'd make a hefty wager that you couldn't find one...umm...well...hefty guy who tried to go head first into second or third to disagree with me. Fargin' pullovers just wouldn't give at all for those big guys and many went "scorpion slide", came up short, and were tagged out a yard from the pillow.
There is also an innate sense in humans residing in North America that gets activated only when you walk into a ballpark. Somehow - if you have a camera handy - you will focus it on a big man rounding first trying to stretch a clean base hit into a double and you will inevitably snap the "scorpion" in full sting mode.
I have friends who to this day cannot live down the shame of having kicked themselves in the upper back with their heels then been tagged out immediately after.
These are grown men who will not even wear tee-shirts or hoodies because they don't have buttons!
And while it has been discussed almost yearly, consensus is that the two 5'x 8' perfectly timed photo prints (framed and under glass, of course) on 2 walls at the Hunting Cabin have nothing to do with our guys' lack of concentration/bad decisions to stay in hands when they're at the table for bourre - or the nightmares about stinging arachnids they suffer from later.

I’m completely against pullovers too. I also want them to get rid of the faux buttondowns they wear right now.

We were wearing those when they were still Southwestern Louisiana. Don’t insult those magnificent jerseys with such slander, you peasant.

I know “LSU” is great for branding, but the script Louisiana is something the basketball and baseball teams could really utilize. You could probably make a ton off of merch sales.

Really hoping baseball unis get a refresh soon. Not much, but some piping on the jerseys/pants would really help. They are just so plain right now.

Any of the mock-ups here would have me reaching for my wallet.

There was piping on the white pants worn yesterday with gold tops. The other split squad wore the L throwbacks. Have yet to see white or grey uniform tops yet.

Pullovers are garbage. Love the design just make it a button up.

Love number 2, but want it in white may trigger some on here. I remember a few years back when people on here would complain about LSU being called Louisiana State. Especially when Vern Lundquest used it when the Tigers scored a TD.

Other unis look good. But my favorite were the friday night white uniforms they wore for years with the Tigers across the chest with the font like the 1996 gold unis. I remember a few before that they had some fine sleeveless with the same Tigers and font on them. No reason LSU shouldn't have many many combos they can use. While I do like the white ( friday ) Purple (Sat.) and Gold ( Sun.) tradition. It would be nice to change things up sometime. Wear the pin stripes on a saturday sometime. Would be interesting to see how a white cap added to the combination would look. Seems like they may have tried this in the early 90's but not sure.
