Maybe the billionaire owner thinks he is just a douchebag jerk and tired of dealing with his nonsense.

He has every right to get rid of the guy, despite the back to back winning seasons.

It's his team, he should do whatever he wants. May not be a race issue, but Flores wants to make it that way. Play the victim and pull the race card.

Maybe Giants had a conversation w/ his former employer and asked, " what's he like"? Why did you fire after his 2 year winning record ?" They trust that owner more than the half a day interview with Flores.

Hell businesses do it all the time in hiring process, they call former employers to find out more about a potential candidate.

They want to make sure they get the right guy before they commit millions of dollars and years to a guy to run their team.

Why would the Giants listen to BB? Flores is losing it. BB has clearly got some insiders in the Giants FO but there’s no reason they would listen to him or for him to influence their hire. What does he gain from it, especially since it’s actually a good hire?

He apparently has friends in their front office. He supposedly steered them to joe judge last HC search. I’m sure he wanted to get Daboll out of his division. It hurts the Bills who have overtaken him now.

I read he hadn’t talked to his staff since November. Would that count as poor communications?

Actually one of his players Rob Nikovich said the opposite.
His communication has been very clear.

I have to admit that I’m not sure if this is sarcasm or not.

Plenty of times, but the same could be said about blacks. Or are you one of those that believes blacks can’t be racist?

Bunch of tards in this thread who have no clue of Belichick's relationship with the Giants & the Mara family nor can anyone see that Belichick feels that getting Brian Daboll away from Buffalo hurts his own division rival. A division rival who won the damn division in 2021.

quote:

Belichick, who will surely be the subject of many books for years to come, spent 12 years with the Giants in a variety of roles. He was the special teams coach from 1979-1984, as well as serving in defensive assistant roles. He then served as defensive coordinator from 1985-1990 before leaving to become head coach of the Cleveland Browns. He views the Giants very fondly and considers them a class organization.

“Of course, the Mara family — single ownership,” Belichick said. “They’ve certainly been through all the phases of the league, and not only have done things very professionally and for the good of the game on the field, but present everything well off the field as well — their family and their organization and just the way they do things.”

“So that’s a storied franchise and it goes way, way back. I was very, very fortunate to be a part of that great organization for 12 years and I learned a lot there from so many people, some who are still there, most of whom aren’t. But they put together a tremendous group there in the ’80s, starting with Coach [Ray] Perkins, so I was very fortunate to be a part of that.”

Belichick worked for the Giants when patriarch Wellington Mara was still alive and running the team. Belichick won two Super Bowl rings with the Giants under head coach Bill Parcells. However, he was not selected to take over for Parcells after the 1990 season, and thus went to Cleveland.

Belichick credits the Giants with teaching him about all aspects of the game.

“You learn something everywhere, you learn something every day, you learn something every year,” Belichick said. “So Baltimore, Detroit, Denver — but the Giants, that’s really where I learned so much about really everything. Special-teams coach. Defensive coach. Defensive coordinator. Got more involved in scouting.”

LINK

Anyone who thinks a man who coached there 13 years, won 2 Super Bowls there on Parcells' staff & then went on to win 6 Super Bowls on his own, wouldn't be back channeled by the Giants concerning a candidate that Belichick once had on his staff in New England? Have yall lost yall frickin minds?

Always cracks me up when people come here calling everyone racists but still post here. Why engage take part on a site with a bunch of racists? Now this person only has around 20 posts but I’ve seen the same takes from posters with 10K+ posts. Yet they’re engaging in regular conversations with supposed racists on a daily basis

He knows how lucrative it is being a grifter instead of a coach.
