Don't get your hopes up of finding any new Kawasaki Mules for the next couple of MONTHS. They have been having "component issues" for the past year and doesn't seem to be getting any better. They blame it on the shipping cost which they say has quadrupled

With that said, go with the Can Am Defender. Roomy, quieter than any other model and all the power you could want.

The kubota has a diesel motor and a hydraulic lift bed. It’s slow but stout.

I can attest to the Kubota being slow but it rides really well and can haul a heavy load and diesel engine provides fuel economy. You can attach implements to the hydraulic system (we dont because we have 2 JD 95hp tractors that we use for that type of work (planting, bush hogging, maintaining roads and etc.

Our Polaris Ranger rides really well and has plenty of power and speed.it is rated as one of the safer atvs on the market for roll overs. We don't have any 2 row seaters so I can't provide any real life experience. We've had a few different models over the years.

We have had multiple BadBoy buggies that have all worked well and are very quiet. We may look at the Polaris Ranger EV next but the BBB is in good shape..it's about 4yrs old. Just got to keep batteries maintained.

This may be a no shite statement but Honda 4 wheelers are tops..one of ours has 30kplus miles on it, the dealership that services said they've never seen one with as many miles as the one we have - still have it but replaced this yearwith a new Rincon as my father's daily rider at the farm. I would assume the Honda Pioner would be reliable.

Get a used 4WD truck....side/sides are expensive and needs repairs often.....

And they will beat you to death!

Do any of the recommendations listed have more leg room than the others? I'm tried most of these on for size and at 6' 7" they were all pretty uncomfortable when it came to working the pedals in street clothes. I know with hunting boots and multiple layers of clothes, it will only be worse.

We have a 1990’s Tacoma, but it ruts the roads so badly during the season hoping the SxS will be kinder to them. Sure like that heater when it’s cold though.

As was said above, the second row seat versions are not nearly as nimble in the woods as some might prefer. I’ve had a chance to spend a good bit of time in the Pioneer 1000-5 and the Kubota mentioned above, both are great for the properties they were purchased for. I need to look more into CanAm. Have had several mechanics tell me that their shops stay full of Polaris’s, and know a couple of buddies that have sold theirs because they couldn’t keep them running (SxS and 4 wheelers)

Went from a 11 yr old Polaris Ranger 900.

To a Can Am Defender this year, the new bike really does the job. Power quite hauls a load.

But we really have never put it to any crazy test. We use it to bring people to and from the stands.
SxS also rides really well. I recommend they after a short time of owning one.

If anyone sees a new green or camo Mule Pro MX eps for sale, let me know. They sell within hours of arriving at the dealerships.

I've owned a can am defender hd 10, a polaris ranger 900, honda pioneer 1000 and a pioneer 700. For your situation, the Pioneer 700 would be fine.
The honda's in general have been more problem free than the others.
The Can am is a beast but I'm having ongoing transmission issues and parts availability is a bitch.

I recently bought one of these. I have been super impressed with it. They used to be mostly farm machines sourced from overseas but their new line was made to compete with the bigger names and are now mostly American sourced/built in Indiana.

There’s multiple drains built into the shop. You can see one right in front the kiddie pool. Doing it in the shop and doing a little wash down sure as hell beat doing it outside in the 12° weather it was up here at the time.

There was one of each (a green and a camo) at Romero’s in New Iberia about a week and a half ago. Long shot that it’s still there, but worth a call tomorrow.

There was also a silver SE model at Lafayette power sports, but that one is likely gone.

Give road and track power sports in Brookhaven a call. They have 7 or 8 coming in over the next several months. You can put a deposit on one.
