Since 1998.

It's no secret we have had a bad 10 years. We are building back up. I do not think this will be the best team going forward 5 or 10 years.

And I would slot us as 3rd this year of SEV schools. Not 6th

If you talk to rational Ags, there are no misconceptions regarding the size of the challenge. We understand the SEC is tough, but we are not afraid of a challenge.

Winning a lot of games early would be great, but the "enjoyment factor" cannot be understated...

Go back and read what I said and what was said in the post I replied to. Tied for 3rd with two other teams is One Step above 6th.

No flame but don't you guys lose a ton of people after this season? That being said sounds like yalls first couple years could be rough in the SEC.

aggie would be extremely lucky to finish 4th in front of State and USCe. 5th or 6th would be a fair preseaon prediction for them. I don't think they understand the week in and week out beating the team is going to take. I don't think they are nearly deep enough to finish 3rd.

Yea we lose a lot after this year. 2012 will be tough in the SEC. We will still have the entire OL though and Christine Michael. We will rely on the run a lot. And if Tim D is still the DCo we will be ok.

We are building a program currently, not just a team.

Yes way. LSU and Alabama are the only teams with more talent. Seriously just stop. You're really ignorant about our squad. And before you drop the "you're ignorant about the SEC line", I follow the SEC just as closely as the Big12.

There is a reason the teams that stay near the top of the SEC put such a premium on depth and try to make sure they have at least 2 RB's that are starter quality. At least 2 deep at every player/position grouping.

870 -

Yeah that's true, we do lose some solid Seniors this year. So, we might be an overall younger group the first year or two. Every team has to deal with that from time to time. But we like our recruiting the past couple of years.

On Offense - the O-Line should be in good shape next year. (We started 2 true fish tackles last year) They are good and will be juniors to anchor the line. And we are excited about the young talent developing at the skill positions.

On Defense - really need to fill the void on the DL with some studs recruits. Might have to augment with some JUCOs to help out. But Linebackers and Secondary will have Senior leadership next year.

I'd add Arky to teams with more. Lost knile to injury but Dennis Johnson is no slouch. Dennis Johnson Highlights

Just TALENT we have you guys beat. OLine you guys have us but I would say QB's will be either even or Wilson ahead by time we play(Because of our receivers more than him). No point in even arguing WR's.

We are talking about a offensive system that allowed Casey Dick to look decent.

We have 2 GREAT RBs also. Cyrus Gray split time with Christine Michael at RB last year. And we have depth at other positions as well. But I agree that we need to develop more depth at the line of scrimmage. This is where we hope to attract more "SEC talent" in recruiting.

Uhh yes there is. A&M and OU have the strongest receiving corps in the Big12. Jeff Fuller(future first rounder), Ryan Swope(Wes Welker reincarnate) and Eazy Nwachukwu(deep threat, big speed, Desean Jackson style.)

ESPN on our dick, read up.

Talent on defense maybe, offense no way in hell. And Tannehill is a better quarterback, no doubt. Wilson will be great, but he doesn't have the weapons nor the experience.

Not denying that Arkansas has strong talent level pretty much across the board right now. The offensive system is really good. We know ya'll are good. Heck - I remember that you got hosed in the FLA game a couple of years ago.

But we are getting better...

This year A&M would be better than:

Vandy
Ole Miss
UK
UT
UGA or UF- one of those will be better
Probably Aubie as well this year

so 6th or 7th seems right.

Not on par with Arky, they thrashed you last season

not close to LSU/Bama. Scar handles A&M

LSU
Bama
Arky
Scar
MSU
UF or UGA

then the rest, which would include the ags
