Keeps all rivals in line....seems like the easiest way to do things!

Alabama keeps playing Tenn.
UGA keeps playing UF
AU keeps playing UGA
LSU keeps playing Ole Piss

Make Bama LSU's permanent.

Or just put Mizzou in the East...

But then what would people talk about regarding realignment?

The reason for moving AL and AU to the east is so you can get rid of x div perms. So none of this:

So we'll have 8 teams in the East and 6 in the West?

So you want

EAST (8 Teams)
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia
Florida
USC
Vandy
Kentucky

WEST (6 Teams)
LSU
Arkie
TAMU
Mizzou
Miss
Ole Miss

--------------So who do you want to move to the west... let me guess, Vandy.. Nice Balance...

YES! LSU wins West almost every year.

Really does make sense geographically and it would keep all rivalries in tact, but ain't happening because of the competitive balance.

it is the correct solution.

I agree.

So it will be.

How does it make sense geographically to move Alabama east and Vandy west? The only thing that makes sense geographically is to move Auburn east and add Missouri to the West.

With 6 divisional games now the permanent opponent needs to go away. If Bama, Tenn, and Auburn insist these rivalry games must go on then this is the best solution. If you don't like it then stay in the same divisions and schedule these games as OOC games. I am tired of Bama trying to have it both ways. As Charles Hanigriff said the bias is sickening.

EAST
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia
Florida
UK
USCe

WEST
Ark
LSU
Mizzou
MIss State
Ole Miss
Vandy
Tex A & M

The western most teams are in the west. The eastern most teams are in the east. How elegant.

I am not attached to the year in year out east west Florida LSU pairing.

Personally, I would prefer to rotate thru the east teams, over time. 6 games with the west, and rotate two from the east. change the east teams every two seasons, one changing each year. Start out with Bama and Florida for LSU. That will calm the chatter that LSU's football division is easier.

To hell with that. UT vs. Bama isn't going anywhere. You need to just accept it. We are not going to just forget about 100 years of history just so we can get A&M and Missouri in this conference.

It is a joke to even suggest it. Bama and UT built this freaking conference. Hell they built Southern football. Just because UT is down right now isn't enough reason to turn your back on those facts.

People at UT will fight anything that involves us not playing Bama every year as they should. I would assume the same would happen at Bama. Just doesn't make any sense. At all.....

You will never have enough votes in the conference to approve this, so keep on dreaming!

It's not that big of a difference and it keeps all rivalries in tact. But it ain't happening. Bama stays in the West--even if Auburn moves East.

the only reason mizzou is even being allowed to come is because they have agreed to play in the east.
