You all are a middle of the pack Big 12 team, maybe lower this year

And I don't see you all being any higher than a middle of the pack if not lower for quite some time

Seems like a pretty fair assessment

According to Tigerman you all are raising $150 million as soon as you go to the SEC, so it shouldnt be a problem to make all the expansions and renovations you need

From what I've heard they are planning on expanding regardless if they go to the SEC or not. And believe me Mizzou will FIND the money to renovate/expand their stadium. It's Missouri's flagship University, they'll have no problem finding money.lol. They just built a brand new state of the art $75 million basketball arena over 6yrs ago, now it's the football stadiums turn.

we also built a 40-60 million dollar (cant remember the actual price, somewhere in there) rec center on campus. We have no problem spending money on sports

From the outside it doesn't appear any $ has been invested in the football program and facilities

Basketball yes, but that really isn't what anyone is focused on here. The $ has been directed to basketball, not football and that won't work in the SEC.

Beautiful campus, gorgeous college town, great bars, and attractive women.......welcome to the SEC, Mizzou.

Watched the LSU-Oregon game at Flat Branch this past September. We were escorted out for chanting "L-S-U" and "S-E-C" even though both of the bartender's parents graduated from LSU. Wait until 5-10,000 LSU fans invade Central Missouri. Like the other poster said it will be a rude awakening.

Looks too wholesome for the SEC. Culture shock coming your way.

This place is the polar opposite of Baton Rouge. I've been in Columbia 3 yrs and still can't get used to it. You know you're outside the south when all the restaurants serve Pepsi.

I went to the Homecoming parade this year and it was nice, but it's a totally different environment.

I'm excited the Tigers will be here every few yrs and maybe we can get a Cane's now. This town doesn't even have a Chic-Fil-A!

University of Missouri uses 'MU' as it's initials
I believe this dates back to the Big 8 days (OU, CU, KU, NU etc...)
