That's what I keep hearing from my friends here in Michigan. I reply, "I know. I don't know what to say, especially since they stopped negotiating with other candidates after one week."

The biggest issue with Miles is that he failed to adapt to the modern offense. Remember when he said would change the offense over the Summer and then it was the exact same shite? Its not the fricking 70s anymore, Les.
At least O has shown he wants to adapt and doesnt want to fiddle with the fricking offense.
Why cant people understand this?

Not sure why you're getting down voted but I have to agree that was his down fall. Inability to adapt and change over several years time. Said that some things would change and they didn't. Would have liked a more experienced coach than O, but something had to change since Miles refused to.

Coach O is a better coach than Les Miles.

Things have a shelve life..things change
Your Mich friends are right in theory..just not current exchange rate.
Miles a good GM for the right program in need..but as of current LSU needs a hungry HC out to make his mark..and to re-toughen up to the standards needed to best Bama..Miles was milking a paycheck these last years..Miles and Briles would be appreciative to Fertita and Houston at this point in their careers and not be looking to job jump.

You don't fire Miles without a replacement locked up. Fisher was never coming here; most could see that except for fanboys and our AD.
