Notre Dame running backs coach Lance Taylor
Recent jobs: Notre Dame (2019-present), Carolina Panthers wide receivers coach (2017-18), Stanford running backs coach (2014-16)
Taylor coached current NFL star Christian McCaffrey at Stanford and now has 2020 All-ACC running back Kyren Williams at Notre Dame.
After recording just four carries in 2019, Williams has developed into one of the best running backs in the country under Taylor’s watch. He rushed for 1,125 yards during the Fighting Irish’s run to the College Football Playoff last season.
Taylor, who was promoted to run game coordinator for Notre Dame last year, was looked at during the South Alabama and Buffalo coaching searches.

It's so hard to know since it was only one year and we had a qb with a supercomputer between his ears that could process info and make reads lightening quick. Is Brady Brady without Burrow? I wouldn't be opposed to a shorter term hire with incentives. Not sure you want to saddle yourself with a 4-year 10+ mil contract though. Honestly, I'd rather see LSU get a guy with some history of developing more than one QB, but there is definitely a chance that Brady is the best OC available.

I just hope Kelly looked over this roster and knows he needs an OC with a strong passing game track record. We have 3 receivers who will start next year that are all potential 1st-3rd round picks. Need to feed them the ball in space and let them work.
