Why hire Leach?

Why would any university Athletic Department hire Mike Leach right now? He has a pending lawsuit against a former employer, he has basically engaged in negligence when he over stepped his bounds of authority, and has no former player come to his defense in his treatment of James since he left Tech.

adam james is a spoiled punk arse kid who whined to his reporter daddy who blew that deal way out of proportion. Leach would be great here as an OC say what you want about him but his offenses were bad arse period

What part did James blow out of porportion? I dont see how people can get past the overstepping of duties part of this. All of Tech's players have welcomed back James as did the staff. I don't think anyone will hire Leach at a Division I level for a long time, due to this.

No I dont have Sirius or XM and nice try but go look at post history since last December about Leach. I have multiple times stated that he deserved his firing and can not get a job right now.

It will never happen as long as Miles is here. Miles wants a power running game. Tech used to get called out for never running the ball, even when up 50. Leach throws the ball every damn down and Miles would overrule him. Then you get what you've seen at LSU the last 3 years...an offense with a power struggle at the top.
