Would've loved to have a running back that didn't fumble in the red zone and run the wrong way on the other play.

Quit blaming the coaches. The game was on Guice and Jackson. Period.

I'm on board with Canada or Helfrich. LSU has the playmakers to run spread without losing emphasis on the run game.

Would Grimes be retained? I feel his position group has under performed quite a bit.

Helfrich would be great too

Stop being a child and quit pouting if we hire Canada.

You obviously haven't watched his offense

So you're just going to ignore the fact that he probably tweaked his offense when he got to Pitt?

I don't claim to be an expert on Canada or Helferich, but right now I know this: If the guy can develop a QB and is an above average OC we are in better shape then we have been in because we no longer have a HC that will restrict the OC and we failed at developing QBs. If they have any creativity or gameplanning skill mixed with QB development we are on the upswing.

If it's down to these 2 and they don't develop QBs (I'm not sure) then we need to add a QB coach to the staff.

Sounds like Cam Cameron all over again. Recently fired as an OC. One great year and a bunch of mediocre years. But Indiana! Look what he did with Randle El!

He has a great QB this year. Shades of Curly Hallman and Brett Favre. Beware, be very aware.

He was at Wisconsin in 2012, NC State from 2013-2015, and at Pitt this year.

Does this year at Pitt even qualify as a "great" year?

Passing offense has been the Achilles heel of this program for years, and Canada's previous offenses have never lit it up through the air.

Every endorsement I've seen for Canada has involved a few cherry picked stats from this year, and only this year.

Aranda was able to put together top 10 defenses at Wisconsin. Canada hasn't produced a top 40 offense in years.

I will agree with you there. I think the cause and effect relationship for LSU offensively has been poor QB development resulting in a terrible offensive scheme. You can't run a dynamic offense or even an effective offense if you're constantly hamstrung at the QB position.

Everyone talks, we've been hearing words that didn't translate into actions for years. It's exactly what we wanted to change with Les Miles.
