I know he is rooted on the West Coast and his Ex-Wife and kids are in LA. Where does Kiffin himself want to be? Is it in the NFL in CA? San Diego Chargers are moving to LA, is coaching the Chargers in LA his dream job? Is it the Rams?

He has already burned the USC bridge, would UCLA be a good spot for him in college? Would he go to Cal?

One of the Arizona schools would seem like a reasonable landing spot

After working for Saban for the past couple of years, I imagine being an OC at a place he could literally do whatever he wants and get paid more would be very appealing.

People should keep this in mind, his dad made a very successful long term career as a coordinator. Its not a bad gig if you get compensated more than some head coaches.

Goddamn!! I did two doctoral residencies near Arizona State while I was married. I am divorced, and looking at those girls is making it tempting to go back. Hell, I'd even be willing to make a pup or two with one of those.
