VT
South Carolina
Miami
USC

Another job not on the board yet? UGA or West Virginia?

Personally I think he ends up at South Carolina

Va tech. Great spot for him in a winnable league.

Could be either of them. All of his ties are to the middle of the country, but I don't how where his major recruiting base is.

That could play a big role in whether a P5 school hires him.

wherever he goes, he's going to succeed. he's got MEMPHIS undefeated... that is insanity.

Kinda crazy that there are three big time up and comers when there are so many big time job openings

Ideally he would be at a school like OK State or something, but I don't see the type of job that would be ideal for his recruiting base coming open. At least not one that could compete with an opening like VT or South Carolina. I think he's good enough to succeed wherever he goes

Nebraska would be an awesome fit for him but they won't axe Riley after one year

Very true. I think if Snyder retires (again), that could be a good spot but he will certainly have many options open to him.

I think KSU is going to be so desperate to stay relevant after BS retires that they are going to shell out major, major bucks for a coach.

From Oklahoma..went to Oklahoma...Coached in Texas and midwest....I'd peg him for a Big 12 job or B1G.

Now that it is mentioned...I could see Nebraska axing Reilly and going after Fuente. K State also seems like a pretty good option. Minnesota might be a dark horse.

Brent Venables would end up at Kansas State before Fuente.

If they lose out in blowouts for all 3 games, then Riley will be fired. We arent gonna piss away 4 years like we did with Bill Callahan.

I really don't get the hype with this guy. his defenses are terrible. his claim to fame is lucking out and recruiting a no name QB no one wanted who turned out to be legit. There are a number of coaches like that who go to greener pasters and screw things up, i.e charlie strong, Bill O'Brien

He had Barry Odom until this year, decent chance a school like UGA or USC could pluck him too

You call this luck, some call it good recruiting

Bridgewater and Hackenburg were big time recruits, probably the dumbest comparison you've made in a post full of dumb ones.

Also are you comparing the Texans NFL job to coaching VT or South Carolina? Lol
