What was everyones feeling when Crowton was hired?

i dont remember having much opinion on him, negative or positive. i got something of a bad feeling once oregon fans essentially laid out exactly what would happen, and thought they were insane following the 07 season.

My opinion of Crowton was mixed as I had seen his offense in Chicago with the Bears. However, I believed at the time that anything would be an improvement from Jimbo Fisher.

I have that same feeling toward LSU's next OC.

I didn't realy have an opinion at the time. I was thinking more about the 2007 season in general and the possibility of a championship.

I thought, Oregon? Some damn West Coast offense. What is Jimbo doing? What is Miles doing?

I didn't know squat about him before he was hired. But I can tell you during his first year here I was like "Hell yeah a OC that actually runs misdirection plays!"

I hated Jimbo's offensive play calling (Bland) but I never complained because we were winning. And then Saban would always put the brakes on the offense after the first half. Never came away from so many games that were wins simply had a hard time enjoying.

I still would take GC or Jimbo. I think GC did a good job the second half of the season. Didn't hear anyone complaining in the bowl game either.

I think GC deserves some criticizm, but I think he also correct most of his play calling mistakes.

Sorry for rambling.

I hated Fisher, and I still do.

I would take Crowton 10/10 times over Fisher.

I was elated.
