Is Arena really a long term fix, or just someone to get through the next WC cycle?

I dont know shite about soccer, but why would they be bringing arena back to replace the guy that replaced him? Seems dumb.

Ponamsky is already studying his Germanican, studying up on formations, and making overtures to Lalas and Twellman.

Bradley replaced Arena. Not Klinsmann. Arena had a great run as manager.

They are in the middle of World Cup qualifying. They need some assemblence of continuity.

Arena coaches in the MLS so he knows most of these guys. He also has support in the US Soccer ranks from his previous work with the USMNT.

He would only be a stop gap until after the world cup in 2018.

At first glance, I thought this thread was about Kliff Kingsbury and the Univ of South Montana

My thoughts too. I like him as a temporary fix through this next cycle.

Yes they do. We care...
Arena may be their best play.
