They all can recruit with the best. This is one reason we should have Coach O as our Head Coach. Recruiting is the name of the game. Coach Saban started it Coach Miles kept it up and Coach O will keep it going. Coach O will go see the top DL player Friday. If we get some other coach we don't know how good he will s
do recruiting here in Louisiana and Texas.

Jfc, you people just don't quit with the coach o shite. Newsflash for you jimbo can and is out recruiting lsu every year in Florida where he competes with several other schools.

Jimbo already has ties to LA and Herman to texas. Let's stop pretending like O is the only candidate who could recruit LSU.

Have we not learned that LSU needs more than just a great recruiter at the helm?

Coach O went and visited last Friday. And not only did coach secure a visit from the 5-star DL, the recruit is bringing along his 5-star OL buddy.

Archer was a terrible recruiter. Hallman was better. Dinardo better yet.

Well most rantards kept saying if Les would just hire good coordinators, let them coach, recruit the talent, and just be a CEO LSU would in great shape.

Now everyone wants an expert ex-coordinator. I am curious if Bowden, Holtz, Switzer, Osborne, Hayes, etc. were the CEO types of head coaches in the sense they hired great coaches, recruited great players, and managed the process???

I am still not advocating for one particular coach, I just think it is hilarious how we want to keep discounting potential options.

We interrupt this post for an Alabama math lesson:

quote:

What do Saban, Miles and Coach O have in common?

Saban (1) + Miles (1) + Coach Eaux (1) = 3 in most states

In Alabama's version of "common" core 3 = 2 (people).

Alabama Translation: when your mom can also be your aunt and sister, then 1 person can have many identities, hence 3=2 is a correct answer in Alabama.

We now return you to your regular broadcasting..........

If this is the reason, we should have never fired Miles.
