Yes Kelly built Cincy but it still takes a good coach to keep a program like that going

Bielema doesn't really have SEC ties either. Let him put together a staff that has SEC contacts together. That matters more than the head coach's ties

This has been an extremely satisfying week so far, and I've not gotten barely a thing done yet.

It's been glorious!

I can dig that, I could be totally wrong. Hope not if he's really the man. The way CU went down UT was my gut feeling.

Butch Jones wouldn't be a good hire IMO, but at this point, UT doesn't have any better options.

Butch Jones should have taken that Kentucky job if he ends up at UT. At least UK has shown they are comitted to excellence in at least one sport.

Not everyone can be committed to excel in multiple sports like Arkansas, Alabama, Stanford, Florida, Texas and that's about as far as the list goes.

Is he up to the job? If this is finally the Vols hire, it is an "underwhelming" one. Big step up from UC to UT. However, if he works out, nobody will remember all this mess of the last few days. If he doesn't ... well, that's another story.

Tuberville and Petrino were better options, IMO.

Of the 3 teams that hired this week, I think the Hogs did the best. Just an opinion. Good luck, Vols.

This is such a joke. TAKE KIRBY SMART. It is the only option here. Butch would be a horrible hire and would not recruit like Kirby

But think about it, you have to give the guy credit for keeping it going. He could have easily pulled a Larry Coker, or, D. Dooley. I give anyone credit for continuing a winning legacy.

I don't know, maybe I am trying to talk myself into liking him as a coach. I probably need to do more research. BUT, I know I'm sure as hell not happy with UT hiring anyone that UK was interested in.

why can't UT just hire Petrino and be done with it? who cares about negative image? it's much better than getting stomped on the field on Saturdays. losing will destroy our image much more.
