Apparently, Jimbo's side is using Les Miles's firing as an argument for a better severance should he ever be fired, which is ironic to me since he was ready to take the job from Les last year.

After reading this thread and learning of Jimbo's posturing with us to secure more control and money and Herman's sincere desire to be a Tiger, I will say this:
Jimbo better fricking win and win often. Herman sounds like the obvious choice from both a character side and long term fit, but I understand the reasons Jimbo was originally # 1.

The statement the Big 12 expansion vote was a joke is false. Houston is NOT getting admitted into the Big 12 as long as Texas is in the Big 12. If Herman stays at Houston even remotely based upon that belief then he is being foolish.

All you guys with alleged inside information are getting your chains jerked. First it's Jimbo, then a few hours later it is Herman, then a few hours later it's Jimbo, then a few hours later it's Herman, then a few hours later it's Jimbo again, and then a few hours later it is Herman again. The administration is obviously manipulating you guys to keep everybody guessing until they finally reveal who it is themselves when the time is right. Indeed, I have no doubt that the next time you update us it will be Herman again.
