Tubbs to TT sounds good, but how would his way of playing work with the spread guys that Leach recruited. I don't see Tubbs getting into a rebuild situation at this stage. Now, the RR rumor is really intriguing!

the more chiz has success the more it hurts tubbs

It is going to be very hard to bring a legitimate coach with any sort of experience with the way that Leach was dismissed.

Bo knows..........
Nebraska is extremly physical up front and was able to force pressure with its front 4. Leach, Guz, Franklin, Mume, and Dykes all run the same spread. That said, the reason Dykes makes sense is the system stays in place and TT can pay less money for his contract.
Leach got beat by Ole Miss last year in the Cotton Bowl, bad! Everyone takes their lumps but if TT is likes the offense and system that is in place then why not keep running it? I think Sonny Dykes would be high on TT list. Tubby talk is interesting just think the assistants he brings in (old cronies) are not flexible to new OC's that eventually come in and out over time. Everyone loves to crap on Tony Franklin but none of those guys on Tubbs staff knew what the hell he was doing. Then Guz comes in this year and is able to bring in some of his guys essentially running the same system. Big Difference!
No doubt Tubbs knows what he's doing I would just let it be known from an AD position that he must let the OC bring in some of his guys too.

The package he used against Texas, hes one of the few that could have pulled that off.
Five DB's=Nickel
Six DB's =Dime
He played 4 down linemen and 7 DB's.....know what he played? Know what its called?

Have you ever been to Lubbock?
I wouldn't go if I were him.

Briles is a graduate of Texas Tech, they will look at him first, then move from there.

Craig James become HC as part of settlement with TT

TT want's a 'good ol boy' that fits into their regents and west texas supporters/donors. Dykes can be that man... following in daddy's footsteps.

ESPN is reporting right now that Tubbs is "very interested".

Tuberville has already come out officially to say he is interested

I can't believe Tubs hasn't gotten more consideration for other jobs. I hated him when he was at Auburn but he's a damn fine coach. I hate to say it but I'd take him over Miles.

What a contrast from Leach though???? We've already seen Tubs try to run the spread. It was commical

Only half way, and it was kicking and screaming.

TT will not pay the estimated three to four million buyout for Art Briles. Looking at Tubby now.

Man, have you ever been to Auburn? Lubbock is a bustling metropolis compared to Auburn.

Most of the Football Coaches, at the time I'd go there, lived on the South side of I-85.
I helped one coaches wife build a house there...
