Who should they have hired? Lots of criticism yet nobody has said hey....this guy would be a great fit and here's why.

Wisconsin DC Aranda or ND's OC Sanford. Tbh I think even Hoke would be a good look for them.

An LSU fan should not be talking smack about any coach and clock mismanagement.

Not the issue. They're bidding against themselves after a small sample size. There was no reason to lock him down this early. He wasn't up for other jobs. Let him interview and see who else is out there in December, for Christ's sake.

How does this hire look in 3 weeks when the emotion of the Kill situation wears off and they just locked down an 0-5 interim coach? They're not beating Iowa or Wisconsin, and that leaves Illinois.

I think this was a mistake, but what is really mind-boggling is that many people are happy with the move and most gopher fans wanted Claeys hired. They actually think he will continue what Kill started.

Gophers have been so bad or mediocre so long the fans have pretty much admitted Claeys is the best hire right now. They under-value their program. They should be regularly beating Iowa and Wisconsin.

The badgers are a fricking joke of a program now. This was Minnesota's time to hire a bigger name and a coach with a proven record.
